The Ashes to Art Project was created in the aftermath of the 2012 Colorado Wildfires. Artists created and donated a piece of art, in some way using charcoal from the fires. Artwork was auctioned to raise funds for The Poudre Canyon Volunteer Fire District. A companion book was published, featuring all of the artists’ contributions, to further raise funds. I am proud to have been a part of The Ashes to Art Project. My piece, Phoenix Rising, appears on page 32.
Heartscapes: True Stories of Remembered Love, Edited by Kate Harper and Leon Marasco, is an anthology in which my story, No Sad Goodbyes, can be found. It was published in the fall of 2012. ISBN: 978-0-9851409-0-8
