Share Your Heart: Paper Hearts

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of you out there! Whether you have a significant other with whom you are sharing the day, or whether you are simply taking the day to express love to family, friends and pets, I salute you! Spread LOVE today! But don’t forget to share a little of it with the person who matters most… YOU!

Paper Hearts is a new book by Courtney Walsh. The story is amazing! I cannot wait to read it! You can view the trailer for the book here: Facebook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NZX5KDnNUE

It was only through this Brave Girls Club post: http://bravegirlsclub.com/archives/25044 that I learned about the new book and the movement it has inspired; the #ShareYourHeart campaign! Immediately upon reading, I knew I would participate in some way. I am sooo glad I made the time to do so.

This is what I came up with…

Practice Self Love

I may add to it later, I didn’t have much time to tweak it. But the message is true… Practice Self Love!

Happy Trash to you, until we meet again!

Love Out Loud!

Love Out Loud!

Happy Valentine’s Day to all!

For many, Valentine’s Day is not openly celebrated in love, but loathed for its ability to build one’s hopes, often ending in grand disappointment. Folks tend to grump about this Greeting Card Holiday as though it were created merely for the purpose of their own personal torture. Some are attached, but in a difficult relationship. Others are unattached, that in itself creating a resentment toward the holiday and those of us who find ourselves head over heels in love. Still others are simply unhappy and cannot see the beauty and love in the world.

There IS an alternative to all that grumping!

CHOOSE to LOVE anyway!

LOVE YOURSELF!

LOVE YOUR FRIENDS!

LOVE YOUR CHILDREN!

Love is in the details. No money for grand gestures? That’s okay. Write your child a love note, telling him/her how proud you are of them, how much you love them! Give yourself permission to take time to do something you rarely have the opportunity for in this busy life: take a nap, read a book, take a bath. Phone a friend; just because.

Those ideas don’t strike a chord with you?

Why not focus on others, a stranger maybe? It is, after all, Random Acts of Kindness week! The Golden Rule tells us to treat others as we would like to be treated. Do something small and seemingly insignificant for someone and I promise you WILL be changed by it!

Now, go! Go forth and LOVE OUT LOUD!

Happy Trash to you, until we meet again!
